Here at Platinum Health and Fitness Center, we value all of our members, whether you are professional athletes or novices just starting a fitness program.  We view fitness as a way of life....whether you want to slim down or tone up, have more energy for your family activities, or just look and feel better....we are here to help each of you succeed.  We believe that exercising should be fun, so we provide a clean and friendly environment that makes you feel at home, no matter what your current fitness level might be.  With almost 50 classes per week plus our nationally-acclaimed Silver Sneakers Program, we try to offer something for everyone!  The  class descriptions that follow are intended to point you in the right direction, but please feel free to try any of the classes we offer.  There's no better day than TODAY to get moving!

Group Fitness Studios A & B

Group Cycle Spin Room

Mature Fitness & Silver Sneakers Program

Bosu, Core & More focuses on excercises for the core of your body.  These exercises are to strengthen, tone and condition the front abdominal muscles, side twisting waist muscles, lower back muscles and gluteus muscles.

Cardio Interval alternates timed intervals of Hi/Low cardio moves with body shaping and conditioning exercises.

Cardio Kickboxing is a high intensity, heart pumping workout that burns fat and promotes total body conditioning.

Chair Yoga poses are modified to accomodate a chair for sitting and/or support.  No floor work.

Double Step focuses on step patterns and movements up, down, across and around the "2" Steps.

Firm Blast is a popular cardio and conditioning workout of super sets and intense cardio drills. Sometimes this class is outside in the fresh air, weather permitting.

Gentle Yoga is a beginner level yoga practice focusing on relaxation and stress relief; floor work is included.

Low-Go Cardio, 20/20/20, Step & Cardio Kickboxing focus on little to no impact, less intensity and a slower rate of movement.

Muscle Pump focuses on muscular strength and endurance.  You use your own body weight along with any of the following: steps, stability ball, free weights, tubing, body bars, gliders or Bosus).

Muscle Pump Express is a 45 minute blast of muscular strength and conditioning.

Pilates is a unique method of body conditioning based on exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to strengthen and tone muscles, and improve posture, flexibility and balance.

Power Step focuses on step patterns and movements up, down, over and around The Step.  This class puts you in your aerobic training zone.

Step & Pump focuses on step patterns and movements, with 45 minutes of cardio work and 15 minutes of strength training.

Sun Salutations is a combination of Yoga poses to spice up your asana practice.

Step Intervals focuses on intense cardio step work and rest segments, a great workout for cardio endurance training.

Treading is on the treadmill with intervals of cardio intensity and rest segments.

20/20/20 consists of three 20-minute segments of any of these segments: cardio conditioning, strength training, balnce and coordination training, or intense core training.

Yoga, Asana Practice, is a combination of the numerous poses from different styles of Yoga including Power Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Kripalu Yoga. 

Zumba® fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got Zumba®!    There is a $2 per class fee for Platinum members and $7 for non-members.
